Preventative Maintenance Agreements
Scheduled maintenance for Generac home standby generators. Semi-annual or annual service plans keep your backup power ready and help avoid emergency repairs.
Schedule Your Service
Choose semi-annual or annual maintenance. We schedule visits at intervals that match Generac factory recommendations.
Comprehensive Inspection
Our technicians inspect fuel, lubrication, cooling, battery, electrical systems, and enclosure. We clean, tighten, and test every critical component.
Service and Replacement
We replace oil, filters, spark plugs, and air cleaners per the maintenance schedule. Any issues found are reported with repair recommendations.
Documentation
You receive a detailed service report documenting all work performed and the condition of your generator.
How often should I have my Generac generator serviced?+
Generac recommends maintenance every six months or after every 200 hours of operation, whichever comes first. Our semi-annual plan meets that requirement. Annual service is available for customers who prefer once-yearly visits.
What happens if you find a problem during maintenance?+
We document any issues and provide repair recommendations. Catching problems early during scheduled maintenance is far less expensive than emergency repairs after a failure.
Do you service generators other than Generac?+
Yes. Franklin Electric specialists are qualified to perform routine maintenance on all standby generators, from single units to parallel systems.
