MobileLink® is Generac's cellular remote monitoring system that lets you check on your standby generator's status or receive timely notifications when something needs attention. Use your computer, tablet, or smartphone to stay connected. With MobileLink, you'll always know exactly what your generator is doing.

How It Works

When your generator experiences a change in status, MobileLink sends an update to MobileLinkGen.com, which forwards that information via website, email, or text message automatically. These notifications can be sent to you as well as to us at Franklin Electric, so we can proactively address issues before they become problems.

I have my generator maintained regularly. Why would I need MobileLink?+

While regular maintenance is key to keeping your generator ready to run when needed, problems can occur between maintenance visits. MobileLink ensures that you and Franklin Electric are notified so we can proactively address unforeseen issues before they create a problem.

Does MobileLink require a separate internet connection or phone line?+

No. MobileLink uses cellular technology with broad nationwide coverage. The cellular network self-configures, so there is no complicated setup or need to connect to your home Wi-Fi or phone line.

Can my service dealer see my generator status too?+

Yes. Notifications can be sent to both you and Franklin Electric, allowing us to monitor your system and respond quickly if service is needed.
